Title: Restricted Kakeya sets and Furstenberg's conjecture

Abstract:
A Kakeya set is a set of measure zero that contains a line segment in every direction.
It is an open problem to determine the best lower bound for the Hausdorff dimension of such sets.
We will discuss the analogous problem when the set of directions or the line segment are replaced by "smaller" sets.
