Two weight inequalities are of the form

$$\Vert T (u f) \Vert _{L^2(v)} \le C \Vert f \Vert _{L^2(u)}$$

for two weights u, v. One seeks a characterization for such inequalities, one whose form we know. But proofs are quite hard. I will survey some recent results on the subject, touching on results of a large number of people.
