Monotonic behavior of solutions and existence of multiple periodic solutions of a second order rational non-autonomous difference equation

First we will begin with the origin of the autonomous difference equation and the monotonic and periodic behavior of the solution. We will then investigate how the periods of the sequence $A[n]$ affect the periodic solutions of the second order non-autonomous difference equation; in particular, we will discover how the rearrangements of the sequence can affect the periodic solutions of the difference equation. Furthermore, we will discuss the existence of multiple periodic solutions and the patterns of the periodic solutions.
